Meet the 1st Thursday at 6:30 pm
at 100 Corporate Lake Dr.

The Tiger Pilot of Columbia recently participated in Safe Kids Day at Rusk Rehabilitation Center. The event promoted safety in many different areas and targeted children of all ages. Pilots held a drawing for 3 bike/ skateboard helmets, passed out safety-themed coloring books, and spoke to parents and children about keeping their head safe from harm when out having fun this summer. BrainMinder buddies were on hand as well and were a big hit with the younger kids.

The club has collaborate with the City of Columbia to hold Go Skateboarding Day at Cosmo Skate Park. The event included a professional skater and skate team demonstration, a "best trick" contest, and other activities related to skateboarding. The Tiger Pilot Club gave away helmets to kids attending and participating in the event.

Tiger Pilots will pitch in to help a local organization, Pednet, host it’s annual Cycle/Recycle. This event involves taking donated bikes, fixing them up, and giving them away to children and other members of the community. There is a focus on safety at the event.
