Skate Jam Handouts
In 2011 we had two skateboard clinics - one in Prairie Village and one in Lenexa in conjunction with the Parks & Recreation Departments.We partner with the Brain Injury Association, KU Medical Center, Children's Mercy, and Diverse Skate to talk about the importance of wearing helmets. We also give away helmets, experienced skaters help the skaters with tricks, and sponsors provide other give-away items.It is very successful with a focus on head safety.
In the fall we man a food booth at the Lenexa Spinach Festival selling Flying Tacos and Sonic Limeades as one of our major fundraisers.We have many repeat customers and lots of fun!

Also in the fall we assist Shawnee Mission Medical Center's InfantDevelopmentCenter, KC Can, and Johnson County Christmas Bureau with their annual fundraisers by helping with their gala auctions. October and November each year
