Service to the Community
BRAINMINDERS
Pilot International's award winning Brainminders is presented by Pilot Club members to elementary students and other youth organizations. Brainminders teaches children to wear seat belts, helmets and gives other safety lessons to “protect your brain for life.”
ST. MARY'S MANOR
A park-like garden was created for the residents to enjoy the outdoors, including trees, flowers, a fountain and park benches. An Alzheimer's Courtyard was also completed with a Pilot grant and over 50 local businesses and individuals contributing.
RAINBOW CENTER
The Rainbow Center's annual auction was organized by the Pilot Club in 1987. Along with a grant from Pilot International Foundation, we purchased Rainbow Center's first van.
ARTS FOR ALL
Pilot-sponsored festivals are held in the greater Kansas City area for students and adults with special needs. This allows them to experience the Arts with workshops and performances that include dance, clay, music, storytelling and painting.
