The Kansas-Missouri District has accepted the challenge from Pilot International President, Faith Stamps, and will “Explore the Possibilities” this year. We will explore Brain Injury Prevention while we participate in a project at our Fall Service Adventure in Kansas City on October 7. The day will also include information about the new BrainMinders Program and time to visit with our District friends. The $20 registration fee includes supplies, breakfast snacks and lunch.
This Pilot year we will explore new avenues of communication. We started the new year early on June 22, when 21 Pilots from 13 clubs participated in Club President and President-Elect Training via Conference Call. On June 26, twenty-four Pilots from 13 clubs participated in Secretary and Treasurers Training via Conference Call. Both trainings built on the Officer Training held at District Convention. Thank You Club Officers for supporting this Training effort. This year’s plan is for the DAC to be “in touch” with Club’s needs. Please feel free to pick up the phone and call any of your District Officers. We are here to assist you and your Club.
The Kansas-Missouri Governor’s Bulletin for this Pilot year has been dubbed the “Kansas-Missouri EXPLORER”. We plan to publish the Explorer 6 times and the months that we do not publish we will hold Conference Calls with the Club Presidents to share information. You can see the publishing and Conference Call schedule in this Explorer.
PI Convention was an “ADVENTURE”. We had 26 KS-MO Pilots representing 12 Clubs and had a lot of fun. Pictures are included in this issue. Don’t miss the opportunity...consider joining us at Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, June 27 to July 1, 2018.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve you as the Kansas-Missouri District Governor. We have a very strong DAC. We are committed to “Exploring the Possibilities” and all of the adventure that exploring brings.
